Ante todo saludar la iniciativa de crear este blog; me parece una herramienta muy interesante para hacer confluir a los descendientes de aquellos abnegados militantes, mujeres y hombres, del POUM; descendientes que por diversas vicisitudes hemos crecido en condiciones y contextos muy variados, y tenemos a nuestras espaldas historias dispares, pero que la conciencia, el espíritu y la pasión por la revolución vuelve a reunir.
Yo soy Iván Martínez, de Madrid, milito en el POR desde 1999, y a la sazón soy descendiente por línea indirecta de Josep Rovira, quien fuera dirigente y uno de los principales responsables militares poumistas durante la guerra, comandante de la columna Lenin en el frente de Aragón (después 29ª División). Más tarde en el exilio francés impulsó el MSC.
No tuve conocimiento de este parentesco hasta los 21 o 22 años (tengo ahora 30), ya que mi madre fue adoptada nada más nacer en 1950, en tiempos de miedo y ocultación, y más de 40 años después descubrió la verdad y a su familia biológica. Uno de sus antepasados lejanos por línea materna era Josep Rovira, dirigente histórico del POUM.
Como consecuencia, nunca tuve la oportunidad directa de conocer la experiencia política de Rovira más de cerca. Fue gracias a los valiosos textos sobre la revolución española y sobre el POUM, especialmente el libro de Wilebaldo Solano "El POUM en la Historia", como pude conocer mejor a mi antepasado. También gracias a la labor de la Fundación Andreu Nin y su dedicada página web.
Celebro mucho la oportunidad de conocer y compartir las vivencias y puntos de vista de otros miembros de esta "tercera generación del POUM". Espero que en el campamento de Sigüenza del próximo fin de semana podamos encontrarnos algunos de nosotros y debatir sobre nuestras experiencias.
